Museum of the Bible First Anniversary Gala

01 — One out of Many

In my role as development events manager at Museum of the Bible, I hosted dozens of events across the country ranging from intimate in-home dinners to multi-day conferences. The 2021 Anniversary Gala is one project I am especially fond of and proud to showcase.

02 — Creative process

My role as chief planner of the gala included copywriting, registration management, vendor management, room layout and set design, and more. My goal was to bring guests into the larger-than-life impact of Museum of the Bible on the world while infusing each moment with elegant details.

Tablescape details at the gala dinner - printed menus on velum, with hand-drawn place cards delicately fastened.
Front side of the printed save-the-date included delicate embossing on linear details crossing the card.
Back side of the printed save-the-date featured a custom event logo and some of my favorite copy to date.

The 2021 Gala programming included a concert pianist, a children's choir, a performance by a vocalist, many speakers, and audio/visual components. Guests attended for two days, beginning with a reception and dinner and concluding with a breakfast together the following morning.
